In March 2013 "Hope for Michael" hosted a fundraiser at the Elk's lodge in Yorktown Hts . Once again our close friend and supporter DJ Bobby Perez donated his services and our 70's dinner dance was a great success. This event was held to raise much needed funding for the "Heeling Autism" program at Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
At this event "Hope for Michael" raised approx $2,900 which went directly to the Heeling Autism Program. We were also able to raise $450 which was deposited into the Hope for Michael Autism Relief Fund and will be used to provide an assistive technology device for a child in need.
In May 2013 "Hope for Michael" hosted a "Safety Workshop" in Ossining in conjunction with the Ossining monthly SEPTO meeting. We would like to thank Lt. Danny Slater from the Ossining Police Department who provided great safety ideas for all in attendance.

Special thanks to the Westchester County Police Department for providing us with a Helicopter for all the kids to climb into and take photo's. We had around 150-200 children in attendance, each child received a Teddy Bear compliments of the Phelps Memorial Hospital who donated a Teddy Bear clinic for all the children to enjoy.
