Safety Day June, 2013

In June 2013; Hope for Michael and the Ossining Police Department held its first annual Kids Safety Day. Approximately 150-200 children were in attendance. Each child got a chance to sit in a Police Cruiser, Swat Truck, Fire Engine, Police Helicopter. Westchester County Police K-9 unit put on a show for the kids, while Guiding Eyes for the Blind spoke about their Heeling Autism program which provides service dogs to children with Autism. Each person in attendance enjoyed Hotdogs and beverages.
