Autistic children are faced with many challenges throughout their lives. Their ability to communicate will cause them a life time of frustration. Some Autistic children who experience speech impairments and speech delays are unable to express themselves on a regular basis. These children may require intervention in the form of an assisted technology device. The Hope for Michael's Assisted technology Program's goals will be to assist families with Autistic children in the New York Lower Hudson Valley Areas in the process of evaluating and ascertaining an assisted technology device.

Assisted technology can come in many forms such as IPODS, IPADS, Talk boxes, Computers etc...

Assistance through the Hope for Michael Assisted Technology program will be based upon available funding.
